​I am honored to serve as President of the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. On behalf of our devoted members, I extend heartfelt greetings and warmly invite you to explore our website and learn more about our cherished traditions, values, and the many ways we serve the Tampa Bay community.

Gamma Theta Omega has been a vibrant force in the Tampa Bay community for 85 years, tracing our roots back to December 7, 1940. From our inception, our chapter has remained steadfast in its mission to uplift children and families through impactful programs and invaluable service initiatives. Over the decades, we have launched educational workshops, health awareness campaigns, scholarship opportunities, and outreach events that reflect our unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

Today, our chapter proudly comprises over 400 talented and dedicated members, each contributing their unique gifts and passion to our collective efforts. Our sisterhood is recognized for its strong sense of unity, leadership, and ongoing dedication to fostering lifelong bonds and meaningful community service. Guided by the distinguished leadership of International President Danette Anthony Reed, we remain committed to upholding the sorority’s guiding principles and to advancing a promising future for all, built upon the foundations of integrity, compassion, and excellence.

2026 Miss Teenage Tampa Scholarship Pageant Applications Now Open
Are you a confident, community-minded young woman ready to shine? The 2026 Miss Teenage Tampa Scholarship Pageant is now accepting applications! Hosted by the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, this signature scholarship program has been empowering young women since 1967 by celebrating academic achievement, leadership, and personal growth.​About the Program:More than a pageant, Miss Teenage Tampa is dedicated to inspiring young women to embrace their potential, build confidence, and develop leadership skills essential for future success. The program includes scholarship opportunities, personal development activities, community service components, and presentations that highlight each contestant’s talents and achievements.

Eligibility:
Female student in Hillsborough County
Must be a rising Junior or Senior in high school (2025–2026 school year)
Strong academic record and demonstrated leadership/community involvement

2026 Little Miss Rosebud | Applications
Applications Now Open
Calling all young stars! We invite girls ages 5–9 to participate in the 2026 Little Miss Rosebud Scholarship Pageant.
This fun and empowering event provides foundational experiences in confidence-building, community engagement, and self-expression all within a supportive environment. Participants enjoy the spotlight while building poise and making new friends.

Girls age 6–9 years old
