Advocate for Social Justice, a hallmark committee, engages the community through voter education, registration, and mobilization.
The Children’s Hunger Initiative Power Pack provides weekend and holiday meals to underserved students at Graham Elementary.
CHIPP – AKA CHIPP provides weekend and holiday meals for children within local communities and is targeted to be Alpha Kappa Alpha’s most ambitious childhood hunger program to date.
Community Service – Engage chapter members in volunteer/community service activities that deliver a valuable service to the residents of Tampa Bay area
Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) – Impact the lives of girls (6th - 8th grade) through innovative programs by providing leadership skills development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation, exposure to the arts and character building
GenNext provides a voice for sorors age 40 and younger and engages them through monthly targets.
Grief Share – A Christ-centered program developed to help individuals apply biblical principals as they deal with the emotions and life stressors following the loss of a loved one.
Ivy AKAdemy Celebration – Plan and implement an annual celebration as a culmination for all of the educational and community service programs
IvyPitch Challenge – Exposes young adults to tools to turn a business idea into a venture backable business.
Precious Pearls Youth Group – Promotes the spirit of service, economic literacy, encourages intellectual, social and spiritual growth for young ladies, 9th - 12th grade
Women's Healthcare and Wellness – Raise community awareness about critical health issues impacting the quality and longevity of the lives of African-American women
Youth Leadership Institute empowers future leaders through interactive leadership development at Adams Middle School
