The Chapter is in sympathy with Soror Lo Berry in the loss of her mother, Mrs. Bertha Washington who is also the Aunt to Soror Casandra Washington. A viewing is scheduled for Monday November 7th at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at: New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, 33605.
The Chapter is also in sympathy with Soror Polynesia McMillan on the loss of her Mother Mrs. Gloria McMillan, who was also the aunt to Sorors Iva Carter and Sharon Carter.
A wake for Mrs. McMillan will be held Friday, November 4thfollowed by the Celebration of life service being held on November 5th at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at New Progress Missionary Baptist Church located at 3307 E. Shadowlawn Ave., Tampa 33610.
The Connections and Social Action Committee invites each of you to the NAACP Souls to the Polls - Voting is Power event on Sunday, November 6, from noon – 6:00 pm at both the C. Blythe Andrews Library at 2607 E. Dr. MLK Blvd, Tampa, FL 33610 and the West Tampa Library located at 2312 W. Union St., Tampa, FL 33607.
